Ama, H'raka means "One who brings destruction"
Sian
I knew it was something like that. Thanks.
And as for the 'Jes can't be the destroyer because so many have guessed that he is' I'd have to disagree... I think there are more people leaning towards Rushton, Dameon, or Matthew than there are who assume it's Jes.. but I can't be sure. Maybe we should have a poll? Personally, I don't think it's Jes at all.
I also never thought the destroyer was anyone but Ariel before coming to Obernet (though that could be the fangirl in me assuming he was the most important person in the books :P ), but you can't argue with IC: she's the only one who knows!
Interesting thought, Aiofe. I wonder if Ariel would have known he was Elf's brother while he was torturing him (since the Herders who captured him obviously did). Maybe he'd hoped to use Jes to lead him to the weaponmachines, thinking that, since they were siblings, he would be able to find them, too, but when that failed, he might have discarded Jes to whatever the Herders felt like doing to him... .... You never mentioned Ariel, did you? ~:| See, there I go again! But anyway. I could believe that, if that turns out to be what happened.
