Hi all; just did a minor update to the site's current architecture (mainly security fixes).
After discussion in this thread about The Sending being released in August 2010 - I though maybe it was best to ask Isobelle instead of endlessly speculate on the release date to come.
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've undoubtedly already seen the future cover for the Penguin (Australia) version of The Sending...but, have you seen these?
Yesterday I received an anniversary gift from Sharlene @ Penguin - a video interview with Isobelle, that they recorded during the Sydney Writers' Festival this year.
Ten - that's right, ten years ago, Shannon created a website in her school holidays.
"On the first day of Obernet, my MoOs gave to me..." Er...a mystery.
Last weekend (May 23rd + 24th 2009), about 30 Obernetters gathered in Sydney for the Sydney Writers' Festival 2009 - to attend the Isobelle Carmody / Garth Nix panel on Sunday.
...if things look a little different than they usually do in the next couple of days.
