Two coins add up to 30 cents and one of them is not a nickel. :P
For all those out there that know American currency. or you know watch certain shows...
Umm I don't know american currency so all I can tell you is that it's a nickle and what ever else makes 30 cents. The other coin is the nickle. I saw that on Scrubs! :D

Ok, guys, mind if i try one? seems like a long time since somone has looked here...
What is broken every time it's spoken?
Might seem a little easy, once u have seen the answer, lol
some random riddles i know:
1. What's under the water and over the water and never gets wet?
2. What falls every day and breaks every night?
3. (from Redwall) My first is in boulder and I have a stone,
My second is thrice in an apple alone,
My third may be found at the end of a hem,
My fourth starts a stick and a stop and a stem,
My fifth's in the middle of pop, but not pip,
My sixth is the second you'll find in a snip.
My first half can stop up a broad river's flow,
My second half no daughter, the other you know.
I'm found in pudden and pie and good wine,
And I know all your names, so can you tell me mine?
4. A man lies dead in a broken phone box, the glass is shattered, there is a pool of blood surrounding him and the phone hangs off the hook. There is a bicycle, a fishing rod and a bucket leaning against what remains of the phone box. They did not directly kill him. How did he die?
5.You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What did you eat?

i think the answer to number 6. is lounger? Except i'm not sure if that really is a word.
Is the answer to number 5. corn?
i really want to guess number 4. ok here is my guess, the guy went fishing and caught a huge fish, which he kept inside his bucket. Then he decides to ring someone and tell them. Then he is in the phone booth and the fish manages to get away and crash the glass. And somehow the fish . . . Kills him? And then the fish magically disappears, or is stolen! ;D? Or maybe it crashes the glass and he gets cut. yeaaah well, at least i tried.
Thanks for the riddles Arha! :D
2. Is it the sun?
3. Damson?
4. I'm not sure. Is it something about the bucket tipping over and spilling something, and the man tripped on it, fell through the glass and hit his head? I don't know. :P

I've got a riddle as well, for anyone who wants to try it. Actually, it's more of a probability maths problem, but of wells. :P
You are invited onto a TV game-show. The host shows you three doors, and tells you that behind one of the doors is a car, and the other two doors conceals goats. You want to win the car (obviously :P ). You choose Door A. The host then reveals to you that Door B conceals a goat. He then gives you the opportunity to switch doors. (Meaning you could change from Door A to Door C, knowing one of them conceals the car).
The question is this:
Should you switch doors? Why/Why not?
Riddles! YAY!!!!!! I wish I found this thread earlier.
1. This one is really puzzling me but I bet you when someone gets the answer correct, I'll be like of course.
2. I reckon Avialle is correct. The Sun!
3. I haven't read this book yet so i dunno???
4. I don't know?
5. Corn!
6. I believe lounger is a word.

Well, to avialle's problem, no stay with the door, its a 50/50 chance, and he probably showed you the Door B was a goat to scare you, lol. So therefore, it must be door A!! see how evil my mind is?
And to 1 in Arha's riddles, is it the moon/moon reflection on water?
And yes, silence is correct for mine.

I remember this from year nine probability... but I don't remember why he should choose Door C! I always thought it came back to some psychological reason: if someone asks you not to think about a worm, you are automatically going to want to think about a worm. If the host asks you whether you are sure about Door A, they know that it will make you re-think, and doubt the host's credibility. So you stay with Door A and lose.
Basically, I put it down to some convoluted form of reverse-reevrse psychology.
ok anialle here is my guess, and it is kinda twisting the words. So there is three doors? well maybe, so they don't have to give away a free car, the host people make the goats move! So no matter which one he chooses it will be a goat!
