Ok so that just sounds really odd, but as we have had such a successful Summer of writing, we thought it may be a good idea to keep the ball rolling right on through the year. So here it is ladies and gents, your invitation to set your Autumn writing goal and continue the great progress we have have made.
If you would like to continue on, please reply in this thread with the goal you wish to achieve from March the 1st to May 31 2014.
Good Luck and good writing to all.
Please note that there will be no prize for this season, except for the feeling you get when you accomplish your goal. Pretty nice prize right there.

I'm going to set my target for 10,000 words again, though hopefully I will be upping the goal at some point.
Writin 1/3/21014: 2000
uni story and exegesis 1500
writein: 4000
Uni story and exegisis: 700
Total: 8200
As already indicated, I just want to get a chapter done a month and my stupid book edited fully.
10,000 again for me, but given that 70% of my word count came from my blog posts, I'd like to spend this season focusing a bit more on the creative side now that I've mapped out my vignettes (which are going to be poems, but that's another story), so I'll aim for a 60-40 split in favour of blog posts.
20k for this season, I think. I've already made some good progress on that with 2500 words from yesterday's write in. Hopefully a lot of this word count will go towards my school writing project.
For this autumn, I'm going to try for 20,000 words since work has me being quite busy! Weekly I would like to achieve between 1500-2000 words. I will be mostly working on my Yearnings novel, but may be inspired by other things.

I'll try for 10 000 words again. I'm sure I'll find time to write in between my classes this semester :)

By the end of Autumn, I hope to have completed a first draft of either my NaNo novel or my final LorF episode. If I happen to complete first drafts of both, then that would be even better!
Good luck to everyone who is continuing in this writing quest. :D
I'm gonna aim for 15000. That may be doable ...
I'm changing my goal to a simpler one: 30,000 words by the end of Autumn. If I happen to have completed one of my drafts along the way, that'll be a bonus.
I actually have to change my goal too. Upping from 20k to 30k. I'm feeling really on track :D
Great you're feeling so positive :D
*dpm* I think I might set myself a goal of 80k for this autumn. I started writing another book thing around the second week of March and despite not writing anything all last week except Sunday (someone furnished my father with one of my stories and although I should be used to his comments about most of the things I choose to do with my life, his jibes put me off for a while), I'm currently sitting on 27k.
The thing is, I am, as Shonk calls it, pantsing it. I have a rough outline of the first half but no real idea how to get to the end. For that reason, I am in brain dump mode. No prettying, just write really fast and hope I can sneak around the block I know is waiting.
Will be interesting to see if I can make it.
Will be less interesting to read the result once it's done.
That's a rather spectacular goal - good luck!
Gonna up my goal to 100k. Plus the 'light' edits for Reticulum that my editor reckons will be coming my way soon. (They'd better be light. I have no stomach for that book any more.)
Why am I doing this? Because I'm an idiot :P. Somebody shoot me. If you do that, the added benefit would be that I wouldn't have to go to work. And that would mean more writing time.
Darga, you are so casual in upping your target to 100k... like it's a walk in the park, or something else simple like riding a bike :P But you know, with the way you've been writing lately and the number of words you've been producing, I am quite confident that you will achieve this. Meanwhile blowing the rest of us out of the water.
One day we'll get you to a write-in... one day :P
Goodness, 100,000 words! What an amazing target. But as Jossie says, you write such a huge amount on a regular basis that I have every confidence you'll meet that target. Good luck!
Upping to 120k. Just quietly hoping for more--ie end of book--because if I get a couple of nights where I stay up quite late in between night duty shifts, maybe I can churn out a quick four or five thousand wards. But I'm realistic. That may not happen. 120k, however, is achievable.
Just thought I'd share it here too. I reached my goal of 30k words! Pretty proud of that one, it being the most I've written in a season. A small amount compared to others', I know, but still super happy :)
Awesome work, Vestie! And you thought it wouldn't happen :). Very proud of you.

*dpm* I might possibly manage another 1000 words or so before work tomorrow, but I think I'll call my OberNoWriAu done as of tonight. I just hit 140k words. Can't be more than a few thousand to go to finish my book, which kind of really irritates me, because if I'd only started the first week of March, rather than the second, I might have got it done during OberNoWriAu!!
Oh well. Let's hope I get it done before the end of next week.
FAIL!! No words, just a lot of work, and crocheting ... and making of Jams ...
