If Elf does find out about Dameons affections for her though, I don't actually think he'd be the one to tell her. As previous people have mentioned, he wouldn't want to hurt her like that, so I think her discovering his feelings will be by accident. There will be some situation where his shields are lowered (as he always have them tightly controlled around her) and then it'll probably leak out or something.
