if she likes magic-themed things try
Negima! Magister Negi Magi (but everyone just called it
Negima!). it's a very cute and age-appropriate anime, if you want an overview, try
here. i've watched a fair bit of it myself and can vouch for it being good for younger viewers.
i'd recomend
Bleach for her, but it's got mild cursing, fair few fight scenes and a bit of blood (you know, artistically drooling out of a characters mouth after being punched through several walls, randomly coughing some up after being kicked into a crater in the ground and all that lovely jaz).
i'd have to say,
Minami-ke is also really, really good for tween girls. it centres around an 11 year old, 13 year old and a 17 year old, who are all girls and sisters. they live by themselves and the younger two are just discovering boys, emotional respoces to events, etc that all happen when you're going through puberty. i'm sure that there's a dubbed version out there somewhere, but if you can't get one subs are always good for improving reading skills :P
if your daughter likes Deltora Quest, that's been made into an anime, too.
