EDIT: I just reread the first post. Svenia's supposed to be a polar bear, isn't she? [act]headdesk[/act] Sorry guys ~:|
Could it be plausible that a polar bear could climb on another polar bear's back? For my sanity's sake, let's assume yes...

"Svenia, it is time for you to leave this world for another," the bear growled.
Svenia's body continued to shake from fear and cold. She timidly peeked her head out from behind the rock. The bear was massive and staring right at her. It knew her name, but what could it all mean? Did it intend to kill her? Death was certainly considered another world. Her body shook even harder.
"What...what are you?" she squeaked out.
"A messenger, sent from the other side to find you," it calmly replied.
"Why me?" Surely this was all a dream brought on by hunger and despair.
"You are greater than this world, Svenia. Now climb on my back, and I shall take you to where you belong, away from hunger, cold, and drudgery."
She was most certainly hallucinating. She must be suffering from hypothermia. At least the bear's fur looked warm. If she really was dying, at least she could trick her brain into thinking she was snuggled up, safe and warm, on a nice, soft polar bear.
She hesitantly walked forward, and the bear kneeled before her. She scrambled up his back and settled herself. Already the bear's warmth was seeping through her legs and into her body. Even her soul felt warmer.
She smiled, and the bear turned towards the red light.
(hey guys, can I add to this story, even though it is march's story?)
I should read some more ~:|
Svenia watched the red light, with obsessive curiousity, as she neared it. The closer she got the warmer she got. She figured that it must be radiating heat some how. The heat coming from both the red light and the other polar bear was starting to bring strength back to her body. Svenia had not been able to find food for the past week and her body had begun to eat itself from the inside out.
As if reading her thoughts the other polar bear spoke in a hurried but reassuring way, "When we pass through this portal you will have food."
Svenia replied in astonishment, "Where are we going?" She conciously realized that she was on some unknown polar bear's back and going towards an unnatural red light, yet she had no desire to go back to her forlorn cave, starving and cold. Maybe she was hallucinating, maybe she wasn't, but whatever was happening was oddling compelling to her.
The other polar bear replied with haste, "We will pass to another world, one where there is not so much misery and starvation, no domination by demented beasts who call themselves humans."
Svenia was befuddled by the bear's speach, "Humans? What is a human?"
"They are the beasts that rule the world that you have lived in. They are merciless in their killings of those below them, they are savage and barbarious. They are ruining this world. I have come to take you to a better world."
Svenia tried to grasp the concept, but struggled, she was about to make a reply when the red light became suddenly blinding and the heat unbearable.
"You must be calm now. We will pass through the portal. When we come out on the other side we will both be changed. We will be different beasts, but do not fear, all beasts are equal in Evanalia." The polar bear spoke with a sense of duty, but a touch of sadness.
"Evanalia? What do you mean change form?" Svenia asked, overwhelmed by the abundance of uncomprehendible information so unlike anything she had ever heard before.
"Quiet! We will go, now!" The bear spoke these words as a strict command and with a gracefull form, lept into the red light.
