So, if you've read the MLIA thread you're probably (not) wondering how it was that I came to waste most of yesterday (and now the better part of this evening) on gimp. Well, whether you're curious or not, I've decided to share my finished product with you. A short animation entitled "Finding Matthew"
I feel obliged to warn you that it is seriously low quality. Honestly, I don't know what I was thinking. Not one of the smartest/most productive moments of my life. However I hope you can get a small giggle out of it. Here it is;
Finding Matthew Constructive criticism would be appreciated, but please remember that this is only meant to be a rough animation and was constructed in a program which I'm fairly sure wasn't designed for the task. Something like length of time spent on a scene is easy to change, but something like a character's expression isn't. Spelling mistakes are hard too, but I'll do them anyway...eventually.
On another note; Who doesn't love my fade outs? And the background was one hundred percent drawn by me ;D [sub]And the gimp filters/distorts[/sub] |:|
Sorry, I'm just over the moon that it's done now, and probably a fair bit too proud of myself ::)
Oh, and it has a sequel, which was originally the second half of this one, but then I figured out how long it would take and decided to split it in half (this half alone has 458 frames) ~:| The second one should be better because a) I learned a fair bit on this one and b) it actually contains the funny part.
So. What do you think?
