I wasa bit surprised at seeing that name pop up again in the third book. But as I said, its good to have links from the earlier ones. I'm presuming this nephew is also a necromancer so i look forward to getting up to more of him.

I've read the bit where Alec and Seregil go to see the rhui'auros and my imagination has gone into overdrive. Can't wait to see if I'm right about what it all means. :P
Firefall wrote...lol, I know. (L) They've got to be one of my all-time favourite couplings. Now that I think about it, I usually don't get too captured by the romance in fantasy novels - the relationships seem to be either very unequal (as in the guy is all 'knight-in-shining-armour' and the girl is a bit of a damsel in distress, which I absolutely hate), or the romance just seems thrown in there and isn't believable, or the relationship seems to cause more pain than happiness, or the romance is just too all-consuming and intense (such as in Twilight. While a lot of people seem to find this romantic, I find it disturbing :P). I think Lynn Flewelling is one of the few authors who doesn't fall into any of these traps. I loved Ki and Tamir in The Tamir Triad, as well.
Also, they're just so cuuuute!

The White Road is the latest Nightrunner book, coming out around June 5 this year. Since it's the fifth in the series, I wouldn't recommend starting with it; if you want to try the series, it's best to begin with Luck in the Shadows. :)
Ahaha, I wondered about your strange absence in this thread, and came to the conclusion that our lengthy discussions elsewhere must simply be enough for you :P Now I just feel betrayed and unwanted! *sob* Don't think this gets you out of the other discussions, either. :P

Yeah, finding where to start at this point is hard. I repeat myself so much from place to place when fangirling about these books. Not that I mind - I could (and do) go on about Lynn Flewelling's work for hours on end - but I suspect it gets trying for the people who hear the same thoughts from me in various places.

We should just copy and paste every Nightunner PM we've written, turn it into one thesis sized document, and hand it out.
