That's why I enjoy it. ;DSaying that, I still love the songs they do and it's a good laugh.

I really liked Coach Bieste as well. She seemed like she'll be an interesting - and yes, definitely random :P - character. ;D (Loved her nonsensical comebacks as well. ;D)I'm liking Coach Bieaste or however its spelt 'its French!' oh I love her nonesensical comebacks. I like that she's cried - I think she's going to be one of these physically strong women that is quite emotional :P (not likeing Will so much for the bullying -_-)

Oooh, I know. [act]drools too[/act] I thought he was cute before, but wow! ;)jossie
EDIT:
Mike Chang's abs!! [act]drools[/act] :-}
Were both Jacob scenes cut from the Australian one? Because he completely ruined Toxic for me, which I agree was otherwise pretty cool. (Must.find.Australian.version!) And I've always had issues with Mr Schue showing off, but he's never done that with New Directions on stage before, so I was even more against that - it's just creepy.I really loved Glee's Toxic! It was kind of funky... so wrong Mr Schu joined in to impress Emma. I cringed. I really hope that, as a teacher myself, that I will never stoop to his level. Dude, it's about the kids not about you parading yourself.

Oh and my GOODNESS with the scenes with Jacob - naked in Sue's office, then in the crowd during Toxic... no wonder they cut it from our TV version, so, so, so wrong!
In reference to episode 4 (SPOILERS):Looking forward to episode 4 called Duets. Especially since they'll be doing one of my all time favourite songs: Lucky by James Mraz and Colbie Caillat. It will be sung by Quinn and Sam... should be interesting pairing!! Can't wait! :D

Ooh, MK - watch episode 4! It's by far the best episode this season - more on a level with the better episodes of the first 13. It actually has a storyline! ;) Plus the songs are great and make sense for the characters - it helps that it's not themed like most of the others. I also think the writing is much much better in this ep, because I agree that lately (til now) it has been lazy for plots, characters and continuity (which pretty much just fails generally. :P) (Also - as I'm sure you're aware ;) - you're fully welcome to jump in wherever you like! ;D)mornirkirara
I think I'll just jump in here :P
In a nutshell - I miss the form that the first 13 episodes of Glee had. It was an interesting way to examine the stereotypes of everyday life, really.
Now... it seems more about the music. Not that there is anything wrong with that per se - but would have killed them to have continued with a thoughtful storyline in there as well?
[act]sigh[/act] I agree with a couple of the comments above - it's almost like the writer's got lazy. In that they have a show where kiddies sing and dance, and hey, we know that's going to attract the audience in - why should we bother giving it anymore? :|
I still enjoy watching Glee - but it's lost a little something for me.
[act]shrugs[/act] But hey - let's see how it goes ^.^;
I loved Mercedes and Santana's song as well - they're so daggy when they're having fun, and they sing it really well! Apparently Tina and Mike's song is from the musical A Chorus Line (it's called Sing!). (Found a link but it's kinda lame (no dancing). Starts at 1.40 if you're curious, though.) And for interest's sake, I'm sure I saw an interview with Harry/Mike, and he said he could sing, but I guess they figured they don't need more singers, and this was better for the humour. He brings dancing, abs and humour - I know I'm not the only one who's down with that. ;) Oh, and the song at the end with Rachel and Kurt was really sweet. I like that she actually was being unselfish with that one.jossie
Episode 4:
I really enjoyed this episode, it was really light and it felt fun!
I absolutely ADORED Lucky but it is one of my all time favourite songs... and Sam is just so dorky and sweet. I think Quinn and he will be cute together!
Other ones that stood out for me was the awesome funky track with Mercedes and Santana. It was just brilliant and I loved how much fun they seemed to be having with it.
Also though Mike's voice is not fantastic (hey he had to work for those abs by dancing right! ;)) I loved the song they picked for their duet. It was so so cute! Can anyone tell me where it's from?
I loved a couple of Quinn's lines this episode: "...finding new ways to torture Rachel" and "I seriously wanted to punch both of you."
I miss Sunshine too - I hope we'll see her again soon!Episode 3:
MK
The songs in this episode were okay - I quite like 'Losing my religion' and 'One of Us'.
Regarding the 'Grilled Cheesus'. Lol. I found this amusing - though I was highly disappointed when Finn decided to use his last wish (and okay, I was fine with the other's being selfish - I mean after all, he is a young teenage guy), but when he used his 'last wish' to become the quarterback - and this was after he got angry at Kurt for not telling him first about Burt being in hospital. I thought that was out of character.
I also did note quite agree with Kurt's reasons for there being no God. More or less he says 'They say that I chose to be this way, well why would a person choose to be shunned and ridiculed for his life.' ... I failed to see logic in his reasoning because no one is responsible for that except the people who actually do that (i.e. as a teacher, could I be ultimately responsible if my students decided to start a fight? I could implement preventive measures or try and stop it but unless I actually incited it, I don't think I should be the one who gets the blame.
