Since Glee's coming back soon, it's time to bring this thread back to the first page!!!
I love Glee, but so far the 2nd season has been pretty disappointing. What I liked about it originally was that it didn't take itself seriously. It was like the whole series was a joke and we got to be in on it. Now they're taking themselves super seriously, and I'm upset about that. It takes away the charm of the show. But Imma keep watching and hope it gets better.

I agree that the second season hasn't been as good as previously, although since it's come back from break, I do think the last few episodes have been much better. The only episode I really liked in the first 10 or so was Duets, and the one with Gwyneth Paltrow, but I've really enjoyed the newest episodes, especially the football one. (Come on, who doesn't like dancing zombies? :P)
What do you think of the recent episodes, Kayt? (And anyone else still watching!) I get the impression that they seem to be taking themselves less seriously again, and I agree it really does help. :)
Basically my approach to Glee is to not expect too much and not take it seriously, so I tend to just try to enjoy what we get. Usually there's at least one fun song (more lately), and at least one or two entertaining scenes (more in the past few episodes). And I still love the cast. :P
