Essentially telepathy; the ability to communicate with others mind-to-mind over distance. Possible range depends on the mental strength of the individuals involved. Also the ability to read others minds without this power. :roll:

Well, Empathy, that's all very nice and everything, but it's only real benefit towards the Land is unity, and Farseeking could do that. :|
Beastspeaking, very handy, but hey, is it really going to do more than Farseeking? Especially with Brydda's fingerspeaking thingy. :O
Coercing? Meh... it separates bonds and builds aggression, and aggravates others. It's alright for fighting I suppose, but jeez, is that the future we want? the misfits want a future based on empathy. :P
But what they neglect to mention is that their plan would fail without Farseeking.
Farseeking is used to communicate. Empathy is used to unite.
Communication and absence of miscommunication can do this as well. :nod:
With the added benefit of Farseeking being devoid of emotion transmitting, people will always get your point, blablabla. What I'm trying to say is that Empathy is superfluous. |:(
By that I mean Farseeking does all that Empathy does and more.

SMUPPET SAID....Empathy would bring together the people of the Land on a level that none of the other talents could... a tightknit community needs to be an honest one... and its kind of hard to lose sight of honesty when you're an Empath.

But Farseeking can do this and by way of communication! That's why there would be Misfits in every leader's blablabla. You talk of Honesty? Empaths can still lie. And they're more adept at controlling emotion, expecially their own, I get the feeling that they just choose not to hide it most of the time.Farseekers usually seem too proud to lie...ignore that last farseekers and proud comment I'm rrambling. ;P

If we had the ability to cultivate one Talent within us, we believe we should nuture Farseeking to bring about the greatest benefit to the people of the Land.

The benefits of the misfit ability "Farseeking" brought to geater heights, and being more widely used and recognised are many.
The main benefits are;
Increased Communication in all parts of the Land.
This benefit as already been recognised and put into action, with much success.
I am of course talking about the placing of Farseekers within all main cities within the Land. With a larger focus put on Farseeking and the training of Farseekers, this use for Farseeking could be vastly improved.
I.e. There could be Farseekers positioned all across the Suggredoon, effectively disabling the barring effect between the the WestLand and "East"Land by the Suggredoon. Communications would be as easy as in the Beforetime with the Telephone.
