Well, I already posted a thread about it over at the Questions and Feedback thread and I was re-directed here. Basically, while I know that there is a Big Brother-like RolePlay that has just finished, as well as whatever else is here. Well, I've been roleplaying in various settings and universes such as the Elder Scrolls and Mass Effect for a while now, as well as being a RPing and Global moderator for several different forums, and I came here not only to read and talk to fans of IC, but also to RolePlay and I was surprised to find that Ober.net doesn't have any RPing elements at all really.
Anyway, my suggestion is basically that we would put a Thread up detailing the storyline of the RolePlay, including what time it's set in, the specific regions etc. and how it would relate to the other stories within the Obernewtyn Chronicles. There are of course rules to RolePlaying in text such as no trolling, no character controlling, no abuse, the storyline is created and managed by the OP and is not susceptible to change from an Rper unless given direct permission etc.
In this thread a Character Sheet template would be posted, so detailing the characters appearance, biography, skills, class, mentality etc. the RPer would then PM his/her character sheet to the OP (Opening Poster) who would then post it in the Story Thread with quote tags.
Also, there may be an OOC/Information Thread (OOC=Out of Context, IC=In Context which would be the story thread) where RPers or possible Rpers may ask questions about the story, about what is going to happen next, character info etc. etc.
So, that's what I was thinking, how about everyone else?
I don't know about you guys but I think having a RolePlaying section or at least a few RPs up would be a great addition to this site :)
