Thanks for providing the list, Firaya! And thanks for notifying us, Kayt and PD!
I'll be honest and admit I'm not a collector of the Popular Penguins - I think they're a great idea and a good option for people trying to save money, but I don't like the design enough to bother buying them myself, as a general rule. However, I am thrilled that Obernewtyn made it into their new batch! It's always great to see wonderful books getting they recognition they deserve, especially fantasy and YA novels, which are so often overlooked. So, huzzah!
At this stage, they're publishing the first book, aren't they? Not the entire series?
Trying to imagine a thousand-page Popular Penguin once they reach TSk...yeah, I'm guessing not. :P
Yay! I am extremely proud of Obernewtyn, and of Isobelle of course! THis is a great oportunity to [strike]convert[/strike] |:| introduce new people to the series. ;D
Hahaha LMAO! I think that would be extremely funny Firefall! I can just imagine it now...
Woah! There are some amazingly legendary books on that list; Well done to Isobelle Carmody on getting in there!! :O WOOT!!
IC finally gets some recongition for one of her books. This is fantastic. ;P *jumping up and down, excitedly*
I think IC deserves a massive congratulations. This is such good news. ;D
THAT IS SO COOLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!! WELL DONE ISOBELLE!!! YOU MADE IT < YOU DID IT< ALL YOUR WORK and all your mind and all effort, time and soul and you did it! [act]is a little over the top and realises it[/act] |:( :D WELL DONE!
Thought I'd bring this up - Obernewtyn in the orange Popular Penguin cover is out!! :)

Oh how I wish we'd made them open all the boxes at A&R in Melbourne the other day! Then we could have it now!
BB, that's what I keep saying. Come on, they were going to get an extra like 6 book sales from us, as well as from The Red Wind!! MORE EFFORT NEEDED :)
I'll have mine tomorrow!
I'll have mine soon! |:( I might be a bit slow at getting books but I do make some effort sometimes. *hides in the corner from still not getting Legends of AUstralian Fantasy."
