As for your user name - pick something - anything - it's up to you! We'd strongly recommend NOT using your full name, for security purposes.

Once you sign up, you'll be required to access the email address you signed up with, and click a link to verify your account. This is very important, as it helps us stop hackers and spammers from signing up and posting rubbish in our comments and on our forums!. Please remember to check your email and verify your account or you won't be able to log in.
If you have a government or school email address - they can sometimes be blocked. We highly recommend signing up with an alternate email address, such as a gmail or hotmail account.

Btw: when you sign up, you're automatically added to receive our monthly newsletter, The Moonwatcher. We're not selling you anything, and we won't spam you - you'll just get a newsletter on the 7th of every month that outlines what's been going on on the site that month.
If you're really against the idea, then send a PM to Elspeth once you've joined and verified your account, and we'll remove you from the list straight away.
