Set to be published in October 2014, the anthology Fearsome Magics, edited by Jonathan Strahan and published by Solaris, will contain a new short story from Isobelle Carmody titled Grigori’s Solution.
Isobelle Carmody will be appearing at schools and festivals from August through to November, in Victoria, Brisbane, ACT, NSW and WA - including both the Melbourne and Brisbane Writers' Festivals, the Big Sky Readers and Writers Festival in Geraldton and Conflux 10 in Canberra.
We were only alerted to its presence yesterday, but this interview is a great one - in which Isobelle discusses The Obernewtyn Chronicles, what inspired her to write it in the first place, writing for YA and children in general, and that she is thinking about adapting The Obernewtyn Chronicles into a TV series one day.
Via Herald Sun: "Nossal High School Year 11 student, Bridgette Van Diepen, a finalist in the competition to find the best book covers and book trailers designed by secondary school students, could not believe her eyes."
Today marks the official start of the Obernet Anthology Project!

At Obernewtyn.net we’re slowly directing our talents towards guiding and aiding those in their creative pursuits (whatever they may be).
