"Which Beforetimer nation is the Red Land descendant from? Cite references from the books to explain your correlation."
The Red Land is descended from Egypt. In The Keeping Place the Red Land is described as “terrifically hot†(p. 718, TKP 2007), which fits Egypt. In Ancient Egypt, animals were imported from Africa, such as giraffes, zebras, tigers and bears for the pharaoh. In The Keeping Place three people are discussing offering a black bear (Rushton) to the Queen (p. 719), which is exactly what happened in Egypt in ancient times, and Elspeth notices a zebra “a plump skittish horse with black tiger stripes†and a giraffe “some sort of beast with an incredibly elongated neck covered in velvety spotted fur†(p. 721). These people are described as “stunted people†(p. 719). In ancient Egypt dwarfs/stunted people were not uncommon. The buildings “were square and composed of reddish stone†(p. 720), and in Egypt there are buildings made of red granite blocks. The buildings are also described as possibly being made from mud bricks (p. 279, TKP), a common material used in Ancient Egypt. This information indicates that the Red Land/Egypt may have, during the Beforetime reverted back to some extent to its ancient past. This is certainly so at present time, with the existence of slavery in the Red Land. Furthermore, the Ancient Egyptians depicted scenes and pharaohs on wall friezes, and Matthew sees one of the Red Queen in The Stone Key (p. 43). The people were described as being “burnt brown†(p. 279, TKP).The harbour described in The Keeping Place could be located at the Delta of the river Nile (p. 281). All of this information suggests that the Red Land, could in fact be descended from Egypt.

Since I haven't read 'The Sending' yet, I'll have to base my answer on all the other books.
So the Beforetimer nations were Gadfia, Chinon, Americanda, Tipoda and Uropa. Obernewtyn is in Uropa, which I know is mentioned in TKP. Sador was part of Gadfia, also from TKP. The location of the Red Land (presumably, the Red Queen's Land) isn't mentioned, but since Matthew was taken there by slavers, it can't be completely impossible to reach there, so it must be somewhere 'close'. Yes it is a long way and in TSK, Elspeth discusses this with the Sadorian cartisan. This leads me to believe that the Red Land is what was in Americanda. Since geographically this corresponds to the Americas, whereas Uropa corresponds to Europe. Chinon is ruled out, since that was what is known as China/Asia, and those in the Red Land, are not described at all as Asian. Tipoda is also ruled out since it is so far away, that a journey there, even for the slavers, would be too challenging, as the Sadorian journey, mentioned in TKP, when they went to take back their women from Gadfia, took months and months. And Gadfia is approximately Africa/the Middle East. Which really leaves Americanda.
