Thanks vililee
I've saved the link. I've got the original Point SF British versions of Obernewtyn and The Farseekers, and the rest I bought from Australia, but it would be nice to have a matching set of books.
I think I'll still get The Sending from Aus as it looks like it'll be published there first

Definantly back you 100% it holds you in soo much suspence!!lol
OMG I can't wait for the Sending to come out! :)
I think September is still the release date of the Sending so that would make sense.
Wow!! I would much rather read 2 books in all their substance than 1 chopped down book that might leave readers with questions! I was initially disappointed that there was only one book left (coz I never want it to end!) so I'm ecstatic now I know there's 2 books!!!! :rolling:
The penguin website said the 31st of October 2011. Can anyone confirm/deny this or is this the actual current release date? (OML SOO EXITED!!!)
I'm already sitting back and wondering when The Red Queen will come out and I've got another 50 or so pages left of The Sending.

I apologise if this question is in the wrong thread but I see that Isobelle mentions The Red Queen launch in her letter. When I sent my details for this launch to Min the last book was still The Sending. How do I know if I am on the list for the Red Queen launch or not? I sent my PM before July 2010 but am not sure if this means I am ok for invite purposes.
I think it's great that Isobelle keeps everyone up to date and in the know. I am not mad about the split at all. I would rather the books are concluded well than rushed personally :)

Hi dweomeroflight :). At the time of the original post, the redqueen and the sending had not been split yet and we were expecting that it would be the last book then. Since Isobelle decided to split the book into two, this list is no longer relevant. But never fear, I am sure Min has got the list still and that we will be asking again at a more appropriate time (such as when we have more details of when The Red Queen will be launched). Hope that makes sense :)
Thanks for your swift reply. I was just tired of wondering so thanks for the update! I am happy that Isobelle decided to split the books as Dragon is one of my favourite's and I can't wait to see Matthew again!!!
I have been excited about the book launch ever since Isobelle mentioned she wanted to have one back in 2009 at the SWF! I have finished an entire degree since then! It amazes me how much the Obernewtyn chronicles have been with me throughout my formative years. I was nine when I first read Obernewtyn and am now 21! Alot has happened since then...
I know it seems impatient of me to ask given The Sending only came out a few months ago, but has any heard anything more definite re the release date for The Red Queen? I just did a quick search and Wikipedia is suggesting August 2012??
As far as I understand, it's not released till next year. Can't remember where I read it :/ Sorry.
Yeah, at this stage it's supposed to be next year some time. No definite date yet.
