I've been staring at it for too long thinking how much it looks wrong :P
ElspethInnle
ElspethInnle - lol! can we relate to that! :P
And I think you're being too harsh :P I don't think it's a fail at all! It's a very interesting effect :D I agree with Arwen, I could happily stare at it as well :nods:
That being said :P I do have a possible suggestion if you are willing to take it into consideration?
Out of all the pictures you've put together, I think the top middle and bottom left work the best because they seem to blend in with the panel rather than just an abrupt/sharp stop at the edge of the photo. I'm wondering if there is a way you could adjust the edges of the other photos to try and lessen the stop.
~:| I'm not quite sure how you'd pull it off but I think my initial thoughts were that perhaps you could try an embossing effect around the edges of the photos to make it look like the end was actually carved into the wood?
Or :P if you're feeling particularly creative :P perhaps extend some of the photo out, for example, the foliage of the trees so that the photo ends with a tree shape rather than just the rectangle.
^.^; They are just some thoughts but otherwise I would be very much happy to look at that every day for a month ;D
Min - Pretty! Ah you girls with your photoshop techniques - you do so well!
& Arwen - pretty too! I think your pictures have developed well - nice work!
Right... now to finish mine off somehow :P
