I've always thought that Argon is supposed to die on Darkfall - it's the only explanation that makes sense.
And I seriously doubt IC would do that copout ending - I actually doubt that the Unykorn will be freed at all. Or maybe it will, but will sacrifice itself for the sake of Keltor or earth. :-/ I don't know, but I doubt it will be that simple!
I think you're right about soulweavers sensing when their visions are false, although I had the impression that a lot of visions were not true, or not of the future. As Lev said, people visioning can see the past, the present, or a myriad of possible futures. It's odd though, because despite this I somehow keep expecting that almost all of the visions everyone's been having will come to pass, even though we've no idea if they were ever meant to happen. ::)
I would like to point out that all of the visions show Glynn fall, no one ever said anything about her dying within a vision. I don't believe that IC would sign post so blatantly if she intended to kill Glynn off.

I don't think IC would make it that obvious either, if she was really planning to kill Glynn. But I wouldn't say it's impossible - remember that there were sharp rocks at the bottom. Gah, now I'm thinking of The Emperor's New Groove, and have completely lost my train of thought. :P
