In chapter 2 of Darkfall Argon comes to check Glynn out just after she is pulled from the water of Keltor. He said that he 'wove' he would be needed but seemed surprised to see Glynn. Does this mean that he wove Ember instead? Or something entirely non related?

It's been a while since I've read the book, but maybe it has something to do with their legends? His mother was a Darkfall soulweaver, and he lived on Darkfall for the first 10 years of his life, so he would be as bound by the legends as his mother. Maybe he wove that the ship would arrive and offer him a trip home, but not that there would be Glynn on board needing assistence. From what I remember of the weavings, unless you were a soulweaver they were extremely over the place.
You may have a point saying that maybe he saw Ember instead, because they both fell into the water, he could just as easily have woven the wrong sister. There is a quote in there somewhere where Argon mentions the storm is going to be bad and they will have to wait it out, and the shipmaster (or maybe Solen) says that he might be wrong. Argon replies that it wouldn't be the first time. Maybe he's referring to not seeing Glynn and/or seeing Ember instead, or maybe not even seeing a reason for the ship to be docking at the Isle and just that it's his ticket out of there.
There was something else I was going to add, but I've got to read the book again to check quotes and see if it could fit.

I reread that part recently, and he knew they'd have someone who needed healing, but made the remark 'this is the girl?' The way he phrased it suggested that he was expecting a girl, but not Glynna. I've suspected for a while that it was Ember he was expecting, although it does seem a little odd, because Alene said that none of the Darkfall soulweavers had foreseen Ember's arrival, so it seems a little strange that a healer with soulweaving tendencies would have seen her.
It's true that soulweaving in non-soulweavers is not reliable though, so it's possible he saw someone else again. [act]ponders[/act]

I think it might be another case of Ember shielding Glynn.
Both girls need help to survive their journey to the world of the songmaking, but they also need to be hidden from the Chaos spirit. No one has seen anything because of the disturbance in the void, but the agents of harmony (Ronaall and Wind) send the weavings to the people who need to help the girls; Alene, Argon and Solen (when his says this is what comes of following dreams. Solen dreamed of Glynns arrival, even if the Soulweavers didn't - many thanks to Wind). Its more important that the chaos spirit doesn't find out about Glynn than Ember, so Argon dreams of Ember instead of Glynn. The vision is still true, and it brings across the desired effect, but doesn't expose our heroine.
I'm thinking that he probibly did see Ember. After all, he saw something that made him leave Eron Isle for Myridmor in a hurry. Not being a soulweaver means that she wouldn't have been hidden from him, and her likeness to Shenavyre would have cought his attention. This also fits in with Glynns feeling that she is always taking her sisters place, and the way the Ronaall hast to intervene for Ember directly. (I hope you can folllow this, and sorry for any spelling mistakes, I don't actually own the books yet)
