Welcome to Obernewtyn.net

Obernewtyn.net is home to all the latest news, discussion, and information about Isobelle Carmody and her writing. Taking its name from Isobelle Carmody's most popular series, The Obernewtyn Chronicles, Obernewtyn.net welcomes all as a fun community to discuss anything Isobelle Carmody related and much, much more.
Check regularly for any updates on The Red Queen, the final book in the Obernewtyn Chronicles, and Darkbane, the completion of the Legendsong trilogy, as well as other new releases from Isobelle Carmody.

During Melbourne Writers Festival 2014, Isobelle Carmody took part in a talk called "Do You Remember the First Time", where she joined five other authors at The Toff in Town bar to discuss their personal 'firsts'. To accompany that talk, Isobelle has allowed us to publish her short story, Bear Flower, on Obernewtyn.net, to be available to logged-in members at her request.

At Obernewtyn.net we’re slowly directing our talents towards guiding and aiding those in their creative pursuits (whatever they may be). Writersmerge has already been bubbling away with activity over the last couple of years as we’ve plodded away at our own personal projects and goals, so to further inspire and motivate that work we have come up with the Anthology Project.
